Welcome to The Gentle Ground. By signing up for an event, downloading a digital product, or joining our community, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

The Gentle Ground (TGG) is a community and events platform for highly sensitive women. We are based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

2. Who Can Join

Our events, workshops, and community spaces are open to women aged 18 and older. This includes anyone who identifies as a woman.

We reserve the right to decline or remove anyone who does not respect the safe and gentle spirit of our community.

3. Events and Workshops

TGG organises both in-person and online events. When you register for an event, you agree to the following:

• You will attend with respect and openness towards other participants.

• You will keep what is shared in the space confidential. What is said in the circle stays in the circle.

• You will not record the session without the written permission of TGG and all participants.

• You understand that TGG events are not a substitute for professional therapy or medical advice.

We do our best to run every event as planned. Sometimes things change. If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will let you know as soon as possible.

4. Paid Tickets

Some events require a paid ticket, purchased through Hipsy. By buying a ticket you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

Prices are shown on the event page. All prices include Dutch VAT where applicable.

Your payment is processed securely by Hipsy. TGG does not store your payment details.

5. Refund Policy

We understand that life happens. Our refund policy is:

• Full refund: if you cancel your ticket within 48 hours of purchase, you receive a full refund.

• After 48 hours: we cannot offer a refund, but you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else. Please let us know in advance.

• If TGG cancels the event: you will receive a full refund automatically.

To request a refund or transfer, write to us at hello@thegentleground.com with your name and order details.

6. Digital Products

TGG may offer digital products such as guides and workbooks. When you purchase or download a digital product, you agree to the following:

• The product is for your personal use only.

• You may not share, copy, resell, or distribute the product without our written permission.

• All content is the intellectual property of The Gentle Ground.

Because digital products are delivered immediately, we cannot offer refunds unless the file is faulty or corrupted. If you have a problem, please contact us and we will help.

7. Free Events and Community Spaces

Some TGG events and spaces are free to join. The same community values apply: respect, confidentiality, and kindness.

TGG reserves the right to remove anyone from a free event or community space if their behaviour is harmful to others.

8. Photography and Video

During TGG events, we may take photos or short video clips to share on our social media channels, including Instagram. We do this to show the warmth and spirit of our community.

We will always let you know at the start of the event that photos may be taken.

If you do not want to appear in any photos or videos, please tell us before or at the beginning of the event. We will make sure you are not included. No questions asked.

By attending without informing us of your preference, you give your consent to appear in photos or videos used for TGG social media and promotional materials.

9. Our Content

All content created by TGG, including text, images, event materials, and digital products, belongs to The Gentle Ground. You may not use, copy, or share our content without our permission.

If you would like to share something from TGG, please ask us first. We are usually happy to say yes when credit is given.

10. Disclaimer

TGG events and products are for personal growth, connection, and wellbeing. They are not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment.

We are not responsible for decisions you make based on content shared at our events or in our materials. If you are going through a difficult time, please also seek support from a qualified professional.

We do our best to keep our website and digital products accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that all information is always complete or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Dutch law, TGG is not liable for:

• Any indirect or consequential loss arising from attending our events or using our products.

• Technical issues with third-party platforms such as Hipsy, Google Forms, or Substack.

• Any loss or damage caused by circumstances outside our control.

Our total liability to you will never exceed the amount you paid for the relevant event or product.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in the Netherlands.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@thegentleground.com. We will do our best to find a kind and fair solution together.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page will always show when they were last changed.

If we make a significant change, we will let you know by email or through our newsletter.

By continuing to use our services after a change, you accept the new terms.
